What’s the draw?

INTERSECT is a shape-matching browser puzzle by ASODA. The space between the pieces is where you play: choose an empty cell and look outward in four directions. Only the first visible block on each line counts. If at least two of those shapes match, the game clears them.

That can open another match behind the blocks you just removed. In the tutorial, clearing one pair exposed a second pair, which made the chain-reaction rule easy to see. Time Attack keeps adding pieces while you search. Clean Up begins with a crowded board, while Relax removes the timed spawning. Easy, Normal and Hard change the size of the problem.

ASODA released the itch.io version on September 19, 2026. The studio describes its wider work as small games and playable experiments. Here the useful twist is that you are reading sightlines rather than moving pieces into a row. A nearly full board still has possibilities, provided you can find an empty square with the right view.

Tutorial, timed run, game over and restart checked in desktop Chrome. Touch controls are offered by the developer; physical-phone play has not been tested.

Our check

September 29, 2026 · Desktop Chrome

We completed the three-part tutorial, then played Easy Time Attack until the board filled and the game ended. That run finished at 104 points. Restart gave us a new board with the score reset, and we made another match before pausing.

The empty-cell rule worked in live play, including the tutorial's reveal of a second match. We tested desktop Chrome only. Clean Up, Relax and the harder board sizes are available in the menu, but this check does not cover full runs in those modes.
